1. How to report abuse
To report abuse on any service operated by TND, send the information to us via:
- Email: [email protected] (preferred channel)
- Hotline: +84 225 999 6666 (9:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday)
Please send only one report per domain name or service. Each report should include:
- Type of abuse (see section 2 below).
- Abusive content: describe the issue in detail and attach evidence if available (screenshots with timestamps, email headers, server logs).
- Relevant URL or IP address.
2. Types of abuse
Phishing
A site pretending to be another site with the intention of stealing login credentials or personal identification information, often through fake login pages or deceptive emails.
Malware / Virus
A site that distributes malware or viruses, or hosts URLs for downloading them. You can also report sites that promote, encourage or engage in computer or network hacking and cracking.
Network abuse
Network attacks performed from or against TND infrastructure, such as brute force, denial of service (DoS/DDoS), botnet command and control, or port scanning.
Spam
Unsolicited bulk email or messages, including wire transfer fraud and similar scams.
Copyright complaints
A website hosted on TND services is using your copyrighted material without permission.
Trademark complaints
A website hosted on TND services is using your trademarked item without permission.
Content complaints
Disturbing imagery, violence, questionable pharmacy content, content that exposes personal information such as identity numbers or credit card numbers, or fake technical support sites.
Domain disputes
For international domain names, please refer to ICANN's Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP). Disputes over .vn domain names follow the regulations of VNNIC and Vietnamese law.
3. Abuse handling process
- Acknowledge: when a report arrives at [email protected], we reply within 24 hours to confirm that we have received it.
- Review: we examine the report and the evidence provided to determine its accuracy. If anything is unclear, we contact the reporter for clarification.
- Act: if the violation is confirmed, we contact the domain or hosting owner and request removal and remediation. If the owner disputes the report, we mediate between both parties and make the most appropriate decision case by case.
- Respond: after the decision is made and the violation is handled, we inform the reporter of the outcome.
- Archive: we keep a record of the case for later reference.
4. Notes
- All exchanges with the service owner are made and tracked through [email protected].
- Reports are accepted in Vietnamese or English.
- False or bad-faith reports may be rejected without further notice.
5. Legal basis (Vietnam)
- Cybersecurity Law No. 116/2025/QH15, effective 1 July 2026 (replacing Law 24/2018/QH14): Article 8 lists acts prohibited in cyberspace.
- Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15, effective 1 January 2026: bans unlawful trading of personal data, fines up to 3 billion VND or 10 times the illicit gain.
- Penal Code 2015 (amended 2017): Articles 174, 286, 288, 289, 290 on cybercrime, with prison terms up to 20 years.
- Decree 147/2024/ND-CP: removal of violating content within 24 hours, system logs kept at least 90 days, full cooperation with authorities.
- Decree 15/2020/ND-CP (amended by Decree 14/2022/ND-CP): administrative fines in IT and telecommunications.
